What does it mean to "Go LoCCO"?

Local Cross Cultural Outreach (LoCCO) is the process of leaving your comfort zone by breaking through your own cultural barriers, entering into another’s culture and ministering or evangelizing in a way that is culturally relevant to them.  It is going beyond your self and focusing on another with a different ethnic or cultural background. It is not about where you reach out (locally or globally) but rather about an intentional crossing of cultural barriers in love. 

Going LoCCO at the MBC Tysons campus is multifaceted. You may engage in training, outreach or service within the many ethnic communities in our area. You can "go LoCCO" right where you are to make an impact for Christ! We pray you find just the right place here at Tysons for you to pursue what God has called you to be and to do. We can help and would love to live and laugh with you along the exciting journey towards cross cultural impact.
