Dominican Republic

While on the ground, we will be working with our partner organizations, SCORE International and Empowering Action.  Ministry options will include children's ministry, street evangelism, door to door ministry, inner city outreach and more.  Much of our time will be spent working with the Emanuel Children's Center in Quisqueya.  This center was built out of the loving contributions raised through New Year's Aid 2010 and 2011 and through many other generous sponsors.

WHEN:  Saturday, July 27-Friday, August 2
WHERE:  In and around the area of Santo Domingo/Quisqueya, Dominican Republic

WHO:  This trip is predominately geared to rising 9th-12th graders who are committed to living out Christ’s call to love the poor and needy in our world .  We will also take a selective group of Junior High students.  Rock parents and Rock volunteers are also able to apply.   
COST:   $1,700 (includes flights, meals, lodging, ground transportation, travel insurance, and on the ground ministry expenses)

All Trip Attendees must turn in the following: 1) MBC Liability and Rock Policies, 2) Signed SCORE Health Form and Parental Notary, 3) Photocopy of your passport
