Through baptism, we share what God has done in our lives, and we commit to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.
The word "baptize" comes from the Greek word "baptizo" which means "to dip or immerse" under water. When a person is baptized, it represents his or her identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. It is an outward symbol of a person's inner faith and decision to be a committed Christ-follower.
For more information about Adult Baptism, please attend our Baptism Information Class, which is held the second Sunday of each month at 9 am in the South Conference Room (3201). Class attendance is a prerequisite for service participation.
