WELCOME
The ministry to men at McLean Bible Church is focused on challenging and equipping men to develop their character and increase their Biblical knowledge for the purpose of becoming fully devoted followers of Christ (see Core Value #3). It is our desire that you CONNECT, GROW, SHARE, and SERVE.
CONNECT within the body of Christ (see Core Value #6). If you are new here, please visit any MBC Campus and come to the Newcomer's Reception after any weekend church service. Or consider joining a men's small group, our Wednesday First Light Men's Community or one of our community groups.
GROW in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ (see Core Values #2 and 3). Have a quiet time each day and read the Bible. Talk about it with your friends and family. Think about what the Bible says and how to apply Biblical principles to your life. Don't have a clue where to start? To learn how to know God in a personal way, take Christianity 101. To learn how to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, take Christianity 201. Each McLean University class provides a safe place to ask questions and grow in your faith.
SHARE the message of Jesus Christ (see Core Value #9). Whether at a neighborhood barbecue, a church service or a baseball game, sharing the message with your friends and family, neighbors and coworkers here in the metropolitan Washington DC area is an important part of your walk with Christ. Want to get more involved? There are many opportunities within and outside of MBC to do just that. Some examples are: the Got Questions? Team which helps to answer questions after service, and Word-In-Motion open air evangelism, or many other ministries. Don't know how to share your faith? Learn how to develop your own personal style of talking about Jesus in Christianity 301.
SERVE the Lord by getting involved in His work (see Core Value #7). What is the passion with which God has gifted you? Have you ever considered the reason God has given you such a passion? Or maybe you haven't discovered your gifts yet. Learn about how to discover and hone your gifts and talents for the Lord's work in Christianity 401.
Please feel free to email us if you have any questions!
